Neil Braithwaite is an experienced solicitor and executive coach specialising in performance development and leadership coaching and mentoring for senior lawyers in private practice and in-house legal departments.
Neil brings over 18 years experience as a solicitor and partner in city law firms to his role as a coach to lawyers. As a partner at Beachcroft Wansbroughs (now Beachcroft LLP), he led a team of litigation lawyers specialising in professional indemnity and commercial disputes. He also oversaw all staff training and development in the London Office of the firm.
Neil is passionate about developing individual and team potential and uses a structured but flexible approach to facilitate self-directed learning and development. He trained with Results Coaching Systems, an international coaching organisation whose course is approved by the International Coach Federation. He has also researched coaching and leadership theory and issues as part of the academic stage of a diploma course in organisational psychology and psychiatry at Kings College, London.
Neil is a qualified sports instructor and prior to training as a coach, he spent a year studying and participating in sports coaching in Australia and Canada.
Neil is a member of the International Coach Federation and abides by their code of ethics.
